It was 2012, I was fresh out of art school and had decided to start a 365 project (it's where you make something every single day for a year). During the project I started working with leather and fell in love! With some prompting from friends and family I decided to open an online shop in the spring of 2013.

While my pieces have evolved over the years one thing stays the same: my love of the material. There's no substitute for the beauty of full grain leather, and solid brass hardware. Fitzy pieces don't just last a lifetime, but get better with age!

Everything is made by hand right here in my Toronto studio.
